Transfer and reinstatement procedures

ATMU offers transfer and reinstatement opportunities to students who have temporarily suspended their studies or are studying at other institutions. The process follows the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the university's internal regulations.

General conditions for transfer and reinstatement

  • The programmes must be equivalent or in related fields.
  • The student must have completed at least one semester (excluding the first and final semesters).
  • Curricula are compared to identify any academic differences in subjects.
  • A fee-paying or grant-funded place must be available in the receiving programme.

Transfer procedure

  • The student submits an application and the required documents (transcript and a copy of the administrative order).
  • The receiving department reviews curriculum differences and issues an assessment.
  • The transfer is formalised by a decision of the university council.
  • The student is assigned to a new faculty or group in HEMIS.

Reinstatement procedure

  • Reinstatement after academic leave or dismissal is processed upon application.
  • Reinstatement is possible only if a place is available in the relevant programme.
  • Outstanding academic requirements must be completed before the semester following reinstatement.
  • The student continues in the previous programme or the closest related one.
